The family I babysit for tonight has, in the interim since the last time I babysat, acquired a dog. They named it Loki.
This has resulted in amazing things tonight such as: “No! Loki, no! No begging! NO, LOKI!”
And: “Who’s a good boy? Loki is! Yes you are! NO BITING!”
And then Loki ate half a plastic cup and knocked over a vase of flowers.
